You will have more chances to win your FREE bags by following 2 steps.  

Step 1: SHARE the top post on our NIID Facebook page, it’s simple! No need to tag @NIID on Facebook.  

Step 2: Leave the comment the top post on our Facebook page, please note if you miss this step you won’t be in the Lucky Draw.

How to add items to your reward:  

1. If you’ve already pledged to this project, click the “Manage My Pledge” button at the top of the page. If not, click “Back this project” and pick one of the rewards. Every backer can pick one and only one reward level.  

2. Look at the Add-On Menu in the project description above. Find the item(s) you want to add. Increase your reward by the corresponding dollar amount.  

3. That’s it, you’re done for now. No need to do anything else until our funding period ends on April 13th. In the weeks following April. 13th we will send every backer a survey. 

In that survey you will tell us which specific items you want to add on to your reward. And you will give us your shipping details at that time.

 

What size stuff can I fit in the NIID bags?

And many of you are asking what size of Laptop the Fold and Switch can hold :  

The Fold <Sling Bag> is designed to hold up to a 15-inch MacBook Pro, 2009 and later models.  

The Switch <Laptop Sling> is designed to hold up to a late model 13 inch MacBook Pro Retina.

Water-proof Zipper

We are here to keep you posted on what we are up with these days, you speak and we listen! 

As many of you are asking for a waterproof zipper for Fold bag, we’ve put forth our best effort to test this with our manufacturers and see if it is possible. We would be ecstatic if we can meet so many of your wants by adding this feature to the pack. Adding the waterproof zippers may double the cost of the Fold bag, which is why we need further consideration. Being a start-up, if we don’t earn money from NIID then we can’t offer the best products to you. So, first we must determine if the costs for this can be met by our stretch goal, as well as the numbers our manufacturers offer. You can look forward to another update in the coming weeks.

Hey, backers!

It's Monday!

Thanks for your continued support! As promised, we are responsible for holding discussions and repeating rigorous tests a for continuous product improvement. And as a result, two of four elastic straps will be removed for a more convenient adjustment of the Waistpack.

Our team members have arrived in Asia for the kickoff phase of the mass production, which means, if everything goes smoothly, we will be able to share pictures of production and update the progress with you next week!

First Stretch Goal: Preparing for Launch!

Happy Monday NIIDers! 

Our Monday is off to an amazing start to wake up and seeing we are now 1,269% funded! We are floored and beyond grateful for the support we have received for this passion project. NIID has been made possible because of people like you who think outside of the box and believe innovation is a part of everyday life. It makes us proud to say that you guys will be among the first in the world to get your hands on your very own NIID bag.  

We will be offering more features to the Switch<Laptop Sling> as we hit the stretch goals. As many of you are asking for a 15” Switch<Laptop Sling> to hold a 15” laptop, it’s going to be the first stretch goal at $100,000, if we hit $100,000 then you can choose a 13" or a 15" Laptop Sling without any additional fee.

Hey backers!  

Thanks for your continued support! We’re very close to our stretch goal of $100,000. We believe we can hit this goal this week. We’re going to kickoff production a little bit earlier than we had planned and can provide some trail production photos next week. For us, keeping our word to our backers is the most important!
